Collibra Integration Library Maven Install failing
I’m trying to install the OpenAPI marketplace application. A prereq is to install the Collibra Integration Library. I’ve downloaded Collibra Integration Library 1.3.1 from the Marketplace. I have Maven version 3.3.9 installed on my Windows 10 workstation computer. Per the Springboot Integration Library instructions I’m running this command, pointing it to the JAR file for the integration libary:
mvn org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-install-plugin:3.0.0-M1:install-file -Dfile= -e -X
-e and -X are to get extra information about the installation that is failing.
This error message comes from the command line feedback:
[ERROR] Plugin org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-install-plugin:3.0.0-M1 or one of its dependencies could not be resolved: Failed to read artifact descriptor for org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-install-plugin:jar:3.0.0-M1: Could not transfer artifact org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-install-plugin:pom:3.0.0-M1 from/to central (https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2): Connection reset -> [Help 1]
Yet, I can browse to those plugins from those Maven paths in the error line immediately above.
Does anyone have any idea why the Maven command is not able to reach out to the plugins in the apache website? I do know that my workstation goes through a proxy server. Could the browser be using the proxy but my Maven command line call is not using the proxy for some reason?

OP3 years ago · EditedIt was a proxy settings issue. I configured my local settings.xml file in my local .M2 maven directory with a good proxy server for my situation and I got a success message on the jar file installation.
