Exporting Dashboard html and configurations from REST API

Hey everyone, I've sifted through the documentation and knowledge base but havent been able to pin down whether or not it's possible to export dashboard configurations from the API using output module (or something like). We'd like to be able to do this to set up an automatic way to backup dashboard configurations in our github repo. Can anyone shed light on this topic?

Hi @Wescirium, I've asked around and at the moment there is no automated way to export or backup a dashboard / dashboard contents and config. As you no doubt know, the best way is the (manually triggered) Migration functionality.

For dashboards specifically, 💡DCC-I-136 Collibra Dashboard admin maintenance improvements is currently under review. Your use case, an API for downloading dashboards so they can be periodically pushed to GIT is part of that idea. You can validate the idea using your vote, or chime in on the comments to share the importance of your use case.
