Gratitude day - Workflow task sidebar

Just a simple post to express my gratitude to whomever is responsible for the workflow task sidebar feature.

Seriously.

I had multiple mockup workshop with internal stakeholders in different departments the last few weeks. They embarked on the Collibra journey despite some reluctance from the interface. They were absolutely delighted by this UI improvement. Comments ranged from “that’s great” to “that looks fantastic”.

What changed?

No more clicking on the green task bar, the pane automatically opens. That behavior was incredibly confusing for regular users. No more! now the task is immediately visible.
The increased size makes it more legible
The additional context (task name and related assets)
The refreshed look (including buttons)
The built in controls
Probably a lot of things I can’t think of

I don’t know how big this feature was to develop, but I really look forward to such new features that make Collibra more aesthetically pleasing, more intuitive, more fluid and more efficient.

I couldn’t agree more, this long awaited feature is really awesowe! Thank you for the energy and great work put into the product
