How to Search Discussions
Summary: user_8659bd is inquiring about the possibility of searching through Collibra community discussions, expressing a need to find answers before posting new questions. They remarked that the available search on the homepage is slow and ineffectual, and they can't find a feature to search discussions directly. Gian-Luca Matsuda and Grant Rollerson agree with the frustration about the new design, with the latter humorously doubting they would find it again and making a light-hearted reference to using an LLM to quote a movie.
Is there a way to search Collibra community discussions? I would prefer to search and check if someone has already asked my question and provided an answer before I type up a new one. I see there's a search on the home page, Collibra Community | Unified governance for data and AI | Collibra Community, but it's really slow and never comes back with anything meaningful. I don't see a search for the discussions directly though.

Admin1 year agoHi @user_8659bd @Gian-Luca Matsuda and @Grant Rollerson
First, thank you so much for sharing your feedback. We are actively developing a discussion search with our vendor that will be connected directly to the Discussions UI space. We have stressed this importance and will make sure that it remains a priority, alongside being able to pull conversations that you are part of.
We are actively training the new AI Search on the main page and have ensured that the top results are displayed with results from Discussions. Then, we will connect with additional Collibra to help you grow your resources and answer your questions.
I recommend exploring:
https://community.collibra.com/discussion/
https://community.collibra.com/forum/ (Join the threads on which you'd like to receive alerts!)
You will also be able to receive notifications (bell icon) on discussions that you are part of. You can adjust your settings directly in your Profile > Updates
Please let me know if you have any ideas for enhancing your community experience! You can reach out directly here or at [email protected] to start collaborating further.
