PowerBI Harvester authentication

Question

I’m running into a n error when running the powerbi-harvester., using the user id/password authentication

"The request body must contain the following parameter: ‘client_assertion’ or ‘client_service’ "

Has anyone experienced this

Using Harvester 1.0.0.1

@george.mathew.slalom.com Did you get successfl with User ID/Password authentication?

Also, how did you decide on which type of authentication to go with?

Username and password
Or
Service principal authentication

@steven.wood Any prerequisites for both of these types of authentication, please share. Thank you

I think you got your answer from support but for those that are looking it’s related to the authentication method. Anyone trying to harvest Power BI should review the Collibra docs.
