Dashboard Templates
Hey there, I’ve seen cool Dashboards here and there during the product demo, and I would like to know if it’s possible to get the templates for these dashboards. I know there’s already one in the Marketplace, but it has been a long time since it was updated, and I don’t see the code editor in the text widget that convenient in Collibra… It would help me a lot to have these templates to make my own dasboards Thanks in advance !

Is Customization of "Browser" and "Search" widget possible?
Hi Team, We are currently designing Dashboards for one of the clients. The dashboard is a business function specific dashboard. We want to show only that one specific community in browser widget (It shows the whole collibra list of communities and their domains) Please let us know how can this be done. Also, how can we customize the “search” widget. There are no option available while editing the widget.

Collection Feature
I am exploring the new Collection feature and have read the available documentation. Manage collections (collibra.com) However, I have come away rather confused on how Collections is supposed to work. It appears you can add some assets to a collection (reports, columns, etc.) but not others (business terms, data policies, etc.). We are not currently using Data Marketplace. Does the ability to add assets to a collection only pertain to catalog assets? Is it available for business and governance assets?

However, the default setup offers a generic dashboard that doesn't cater to the specific needs of distinct user roles. I would like to gather insights and suggestions from those who have successfully implemented or experimented with creating customized landing pages for different user roles. How did you approach this? What tools and strategies did you use within Collibra to ensure that each role gets the data and visual elements that are most relevant to them? Additionally, I'm curious about any potential pitfalls or challenges I should be aware of. Are there any specific Collibra features or capabilities that you found particularly effective or limiting in this process? Migration feature and assets
Good morning Collibra friends, We’re trying to use the migration tool under settings to migrate our Dev catalogs to Prod. We’re working with a clean slate in Prod. We were successful in importing the skeleton of our Dev environment, users, groups, and workflows, but none of the actual dictionaries came with it. We see the warning in the documentation, but this seems to only be an issue with environments up to 2021.07. Our Dev and Prod are not on the same (DEV: 2024.01 and PROD: 2023.11.4) but these are later than the warning. Do these environments have to be exactly the same for the dictionaries to also be imported in the migration, or am I not understanding the purpose of this migration tool?

Is there a connector for Salesforce Marketing Cloud available with Edge certification?
I can only see a connector for Salesforce in the marketplace, but not sure if this will also work with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Calculation of the Seats for the new Licensing Model

Hello, we have not yet transitioned to the new licensing model and there are some situations not clear. If someone who had the experience, can shed some light, it would be much appreciated. All is clear on the way a license is determined for individual user, based on the role or membership in a certain group - higher license always prevails. There is also the buffer of 20% to manage consumption and 9 weeks in which the consumption is monitored and then some restrictions are implemented. What is not clear is the counting of the licenses. Example: User A occupies Viewer license and is at some point assigned a role that requires Contributor license based on some permission. At that point user A is +1 for Contributor license count. What happens if the user A no longer has that role that requires Contributor license? Is he still counted in the Contributor license count even though he now occupies the Viewer license? Is there a time period in which you are counted in the higher license count or does it change the second you lose the role/are not in the group anymore? Documentation does not specify anything related to this and it is hard to explain to the clients and cover all the possible situations. And there are a lot of them, imagination goes wild, ex. someone puts wrong user in a group and he now occupies higher license forever even though never used permissions that counts for a higher license? Update: found a part on the Allowance limits if the consumption is calculated weekly that means that user A is counted for Contributor license only in weeks that he occupied a role/group that requires some permission from Contributor - is that correct and tested in the real world? Make asset pages pretty
I received a pretty hurtful comment today regarding the look of asset pages in Collibra. And I have to say it was hard to argue… This is the page that led to the comment While it looks fine as a table, the asset page seems just plain empty. Are there any updates to the idea submitted in 2017 to allow multi-columns layout in the asset page? Customizable UI for Asset page: low-code complex configurability of asset overview & other tabs | Ideation Platform – Collibra Even just a better default layout would be great. Instead of listing attributes one after the other with a lot of whitespace, stacking them on a 3-column layout would already be a great improvement.

Overlay on diagram view
I have added an overlay to my diagram view. The overlay is showing only 1 value on the diagram when it actually contains multiple values. Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to show more than one value on an overlay?
