Change View on Global Search Results
When we display the Global Search results it only gives us one option - the tiles view - it would be great if there was also the Table type view like on many of the other pages. Right now it does not appear like you can export the global search results because no table view exists. We need to be able to export the global search results.

My use case was that I have different types of assets: Business terms, Values, and Columns, from the Business Glossary, Reference Lists and Operational Data Catalog sharing the same Tag. I wanted to display anything from any source with that Tag on a screen and be able to export it. Appreciate the help !!! Please close this as a suggestion - but keep open for others to benefit from.

·4 years ago · EditedThe fact that no export is available, is not related to the display mode (tiles or table), but as search is inherently different from the asset views. If you raise this idea again, please already add what the main use cases are. Theoretically a table display for search would be possible (but would not automatically include export), and/or an export would be possible without having a table display mode.
That said, I also recommend @arthur.burkhardt’s suggestion to try to the desired export with Global Views. If this is not possible, as this was not the experience you were looking for, or the needed filters are not available, that would be good input for the idea(s).

Maybe it would be worth raising again.
In the meantime, have you tried Global views? They essentially deliver what you are looking for, minus the convenience of the search engine + facets.
