Data sourcing for a KPI : how do we bring elements

Hi all,

We are encountering an issue with bringing some context around tables that are used as data sources for a KPI. To be more precise, I want to show in which systems the tables are located, a bit like the breadcrumb that is used on the asset table. However, when the table is linked through the standard Collibra lineage (Table -> Schema -> Database -> System), the only thing I can show up is obviously the Schema.

How do you deal with that on your side ? Any thoughts or inputs would be welcome

Hi Maximilien,
What you are asking is not possible from the KPI asset page. The ways to work around that is:

As soon as you navigate to the table, you will be able to see the system in the breadcrumb.
What you are asking is a typical lineage use case that can also be answered using our diagrams easily, showing the tables used to build a KPI and in which schema, database and system you can find them.

It would be great if the Collibra UI provided additional context for the table asset. But this is nothing we can do from a customer perspective. You can display the full name. With EDGE, the fullname of a table is Connection>Database>Schema>Table. So it would show the breadcrumb in a somewhat acceptable way.
