Excluded tables are not excluded in the Jobserver crawiling
Hello,
I have a list of 300 tables that I need to exclude from a particular Oracle schema. I copied each table in the excluded list manually, as it doesn’t take it when I paste them all and hit enter. (Let me know if there is an easy way to do that)
After entering 300 tables in the excluded list I ran the job without sampling and data profiling and it just took 1 minute to complete the task. It excluded all the tables except the ones with a $ sign in the table name. These are some of the examples of the tables that were not excluded " DR$CAT_SETS_PUBVALUEX1$K" “MLOG$_CAT_BOOKS” There are like 55 tables which has $ sign in them which are crawled in Collibra which I wanted to exclude and they are in the excluded list as well.
Would you please provide me a solution to exclude these tables?
Thanks,
Shikha

So a temporary solution while the API endpoints haven’t been removed would be to grab your driver UUID using the
/rest/2.0/jdbcREST endpoint. And feeding it to the/rest/catalog/1.0/schemas/jdbcCatalog API endpoint.Looking at the API’s the example schema which I’ve attached below, you can define all your excluded tables as part of an array of strings.
I’ve never tried this before so can’t be of much help other than proposing the solution, but give it a go

E.g
MLOG\$_CAT_BOOKS

One more question, is there any easy way to enter 300 tables in the excluded list in Collibra? If I copy those tables comma separated or without comma and hit enter. Collibra takes everything in one text.
So I have to enter 300 tables manually in that list which is a tedious task. I hope there is an easy way.
Thanks in Advance !!!
