How do I create various communities under a organization (decentralized
operation model)

Question

I’m attempting to create this structure in Collibra:

Unfortunately, I’m not sure how i can create the various communities as I’m only able to create sub-communites. Please see the photo below for reference:

Could someone please guide me on how I could go about this?

And if you wish to make a community a top-level community you would go to the community, select “Move” from the action menu, and then clear the selection window. A blank there will move the community/sub-communities to the top-level.

Hi Prasanthi , How did you create the communities? If you make use of the global create button and select to create a new community, then it is not mandatory to fill in a parent community. This means that if no parent community is filled in, then you will create a new root community instead of a subcommunity. Hope this helps.
