Is Customization of "Browser" and "Search" widget possible?
Hi Team,
We are currently designing Dashboards for one of the clients. The dashboard is a business function specific dashboard. We want to show only that one specific community in browser widget (It shows the whole collibra list of communities and their domains) Please let us know how can this be done.
Also, how can we customize the “search” widget. There are no option available while editing the widget.

·1 year ago · EditedI feel that requiring users to learn HTML to customize Collibra is not an acceptable or feasible solution. Standard Collibra administrators do not have this type of technical knowledge, nor should they have to learn HTML coding to administer Collibra. With Collibra making customizations increasingly complex, they are making it so customers are having to purchase coaching hours to get assistance to solve issues that should be standard functionality.

·4 years ago · EditedThere is currently no way to customize the ‘Browser’ widget to only display a subset of communities. Personally, I believe there is little added value to adding it to the dashboard, as it is available from the ‘Browse’ menu item top left. What we do see that a lot of customers do, is add a select amount of the most relevant links/domains/communities for that business unit.
For the search widget, while you can’t customize it, you can use the ‘iframe widget’ from Marketplace or the Reporting widget to load a .html file that you host. That way you can create a custom search box that executes a query against a specific search filter.
On default the search box will look like this:
You can easily modify this, or decide to not show the text.
To create your search box:

·3 years ago · EditedHi @ann.wuyts,
I have uploaded the html file to the customization folder (dgc/modules/search-box).
The problem is that I can’t access the file through a url like this https://YOURURL/modules/search-box/ddk_searchform_customfilter_dgc56.html
I have tried several path and none of them work. Could you guide me on how to do it?
Thank you!
