As the Director of Data Governance & Strategy for Gannett, I lead the design, implementation, and operation of an Enterprise Data Governance Program. The program goals are to: • Enhance the trust, integrity, quality, and accessibility of our enterprise data (structured, semi structured, and unstructured) • Manage development and deployment of policies, processes, and technology to reduce compliance risk and security exposure • Improve the availability, understanding, and accuracy of Gannett Enterprise Data to all data Citizens • Implement a Data Culture across the enterprise • Reduce data silos, data confusion, and effort required to utilize enterprise data • Implement AI Governance processes to reduce risk and improve revenue by using advanced technology
